BWT-157 is a neutralizing-type corrosion inhibitor designed to control corrosion in steam and condensate systems. When BWT-157 is fed to the boiler it quickly volatilizes and neutralizes the corrosivity of the carbon dioxide and other acid forming components in the condensate. BWT-157 is especially effective in complex systems such as industrial processing plants or college campuses with an industrial power house. Proper application of BWT-157 will control condensate line corrosion and reduce iron and copper corrosion products recycled back to the boiler, thereby reducing troublesome boiler deposits. When used as recommended and in good commercial practice, BWT-157 is certifiable as being in compliance with FDA regulations 21 CFR 173.310 for food plant use. BWT-157 is certified Kosher-Parve.
