Technaflex-285 Effectively increases the upper pH limits at which

recirculating cooling water can be treated without risking expensive and inefficient scale deposits. The potential for calcium precipitation in stressed conditions requires the treatment program to maintain its stability and functionality in this environment. For this reason, polymers such as polyacrylic acid (PAA) and phosphonates such as HEDP are not effective in stressed conditions. Polymaelic acid has been used in stressed conditions with some success but PMA lacked the effective functionality for deposits control when other contaminants such as phosphate, iron and zinc were present in the recirculating cooling water.
