The next Generation of cooling water Trace chemical treatment. WATERTECH, Inc. is pleased to announce the next generation of Cooling Water Treatment and we will be introducing the new CWT-280EVO+T product this summer. This new technology is built on the environmentally friendly, phosphorus free product we introduced several years ago. This product has eliminated phosphorus from your cooling tower blowdown to provide a much more friendly approach to the environment. The next generation of this product will utilize tracing technology that allows tracking of the actual chemical residual using tagged polymer technology. 

This has traditionally been done with the use of an inert fluorescent tracer known as PTSA. This method of treatment only provided an estimate of the polymer in the system. This new Tagged Polymer technology will provide instant real time tracking of the “free polymer” that is in the system and by using this new technology, we can reduce the amount of polymer required to treat the system and also reduce water consumption. These are all methods to achieve a more environmentally friendly cooling water treatment program. This program will also greatly simplify the implementation and monitoring of the water treatment program. No more lengthy tests to be run to determine the amount of free polymer in the system. By simply pushing 1 button on a fluorometer you can get instant results.
